No code, no fiddling
The no-code web scraper that runs itself
Point a robot at a web page once. Bane reads it, finds the list, tidies the rows, and sends them wherever you like, as often as you choose. No scripts, no selectors, no browser extensions to babysit.

How web scraping works in Bane
Most scraping tools hand you a point-and-click editor and still expect you to understand selectors, pagination settings and export formats. Bane goes the other way. You tell Banebot what you want in your own words, for example “watch this supplier page and email me the list every Monday morning”. Banebot fetches the page, looks for the tables, structured data and repeated product cards on it, picks the most useful block, works out sensible column names, and sets the schedule and destination you asked for. You look over its one-sentence plan, change anything you like, and press go.
The tidying is deterministic, which means the same page always produces the same clean rows. Prices are recognised as prices, blank columns are dropped, and headings are matched sensibly. There is no guesswork between runs, so the spreadsheet that lands in your inbox on Tuesday has the same shape as the one from Monday.
Prefer to do it by hand? There is a six-step wizard too: paste a web address, see every list Bane found on the page, pick one, untick the columns you do not want, choose a destination and a schedule. Either way, no code is involved at any point.
Five places your data can go
A spreadsheet
Press a button and a tidy CSV lands on your computer, ready for Excel or Numbers.
Your inbox
Bane emails you the fresh spreadsheet on your schedule, so the list is waiting with your morning coffee.
A Google Sheet
Share a sheet with Bane's helper address once, and every run updates it in place.
Your online shop
Each row becomes a product in Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Square, Ecwid or Amazon. New products arrive hidden until you approve them.
Your own website
On Pro and Business, Bane can POST the rows to a web address you control, for anything you have built yourself.
Run history
Every robot keeps a history of its runs, so you can see what was collected and when, and download past results.
Built for people who are not technical
Bane was built so a complete beginner can set up their first robot in about two minutes. Big buttons, plain words, one thing on the screen at a time. It is honest about its limits too: it reads what a page openly shows to any visitor, so a page that hides its list until you click or scroll may not work, and Bane will tell you rather than pretend. When that happens, the page listing all the products usually works where a single product page does not.
Because Bane is a hosted service, there is nothing to install and nothing running on your computer. Your robots run in the background on our servers, on the schedule you chose, and retry politely if a page has a bad day. You can also press Run now whenever you want a fresh copy. See the help page for a walkthrough, or the pricing page for exactly what each plan includes.
Questions people ask
What is a no-code web scraper?
A no-code web scraper collects data from web pages without you writing any code. In Bane you point a robot at a page, it finds the tables, product lists and structured data on it, you pick the one you want, and Bane turns it into tidy rows and columns. You never see a script or a selector.
How do I set up a scrape in Bane?
You tell Banebot what you want in plain words, for example 'watch this supplier page and email me the list every Monday'. Banebot reads the page, picks the best list on it, matches the columns and sets the schedule. You check its plan and press go. Most people are done in about two minutes. There is also a step-by-step wizard if you would rather choose everything yourself.
Where can Bane send the data it collects?
Five places: a spreadsheet you download, an email to your inbox, a Google Sheet you already have, your own website (a web address set up to receive the list), or straight into your online shop as products (Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Square, Ecwid or Amazon).
Can it run automatically on a schedule?
Yes. Robots can run daily or weekly on every plan, and hourly on the Pro and Business plans. Each run collects the page fresh and delivers the result, and you can see the history of every run. If a run trips up, Bane tries again and lets you know.
How much data can one run collect?
Up to 5,000 rows per run on Starter, 50,000 on Pro and 500,000 on Business. Starter includes 10 robots and 4,000 checks a month, Pro includes 40 robots and 30,000 checks, and Business includes 80 robots and 120,000 checks.
Is web scraping with Bane allowed?
Bane only reads what a page already shows to any visitor, the same things you can see in your own browser. It does not log in to other people's accounts or get past passwords. You should use it on pages you are allowed to look at, and a daily collection is plenty for most jobs.
